General Part-Time Maintenance Technician

Join McKnight Place Extended Care , a premier, award-winning skilled nursing senior living community, as a General Maintenance Technician . This vital role ensures the safety, comfort, and aesthetic quality of our campus, directly enhancing the daily lives of our residents. Please note this position is part-time.
Key DetailsPosition Wage: $21.00/hr. $24.00/hr. (Depending on Experience - DOE)
Schedule: Part-time, Thursday–Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Location: McKnight Place Extended Care- 2 McKnight Place, St. Louis, MO 63124.
This role requires a proactive approach to building maintenance and resident service, including:
Performing scheduled and emergency property repairs , encompassing carpentry , plumbing , painting , and minor HVAC maintenance .
Conducting routine preventive maintenance on resident rooms, common areas, and exterior grounds.
Assisting with efficient apartment turnover and preparing units for new residents.
Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and facility standards.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2–5 years of professional maintenance technician or relevant facility maintenance experience.
Proven ability to work independently, manage a daily task list, and prioritize emergency calls.
Physical capacity to lift up to 75 lbs. , and perform tasks requiring bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
