Room Attendant

The Room Attendant plays an essential role in creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents, families and team members. This position supports both housekeeping and laundry operations while upholding Sunrise's quality service standards and commitment to resident-centered care.

What You'll Do:

• Perform housekeeping duties in resident suites, common areas and offices
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitize floors, furniture, fixtures and surfaces
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, showers and glass surfaces
• Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms
• Collect trash and transport clean and soiled linens appropriately
• Sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute community laundry
• Inspect linens for wear and follow procedures for damaged items
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in safe, orderly condition
• Follow infection control, OSHA and safety procedures at all times
• Assist with resident needs and communicate updates to supervisors
• Participate in team meetings and engagement initiatives

Pay Range: 16.60 - 20.05

This position is subject to applicable provincial employment standards.
