We are hiring full-time Special Education Paraprofessionals specializing in behavior support for the 2026-2027 academic year in Vermont. This position is ideal for instructional assistants, paraeducators, or behavior techs who want to support K-12 students requiring behavioral intervention across four school buildings.

You will assist classroom teachers and work alongside a newly appointed District BCBA to maintain a safe, productive, and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom behavior support and academic assistance to students with IEPs.

Assist in executing behavior plans and utilizing classroom management techniques designed by the behavior team.

De-escalate challenging behaviors and redirect students to promote academic engagement.

Document student behavior and progress to share with special education teams.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s degree or paraeducator certification preferred).

Experience working as a paraprofessional, instructional assistant, or behavior aide in a school setting.

Strong communication and patience for working with diverse K-12 student populations.
