Position Overview

Multi Team Staffing is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and capable of completing apartment repairs, preventive maintenance, and unit turns with minimal supervision.

This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on attendance, performance, and the client’s staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and resident maintenance requests
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and minor leaks
• Complete basic electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, fixtures, and smoke detectors
• Repair drywall, patch holes, match texture, and complete touch-up painting
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances
• Replace locks, blinds, screens, fixtures, and other apartment components
• Perform preventive maintenance throughout the property
• Maintain common areas and property grounds when needed
• Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, and maintenance supervisors
• Follow all company and property safety procedures

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of apartment or property maintenance experience preferred
• Experience completing apartment turns and service requests
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
• HVAC experience or EPA certification is a plus
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have basic hand tools
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Must be dependable and able to report to work on time
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Background check may be required
