This role will be instrumental in providing critical analytical insights and fostering collaboration with the broader Wealth Data Analytics and Innovation (DAI) organization to achieve business objectives.Position OverviewThe primary objective of this role is to drive impactful analytical projects that will shape the future and growth of the NAM Citigold business. The Senior Analyst will work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a team of passionate innovators, spearheading projects that deliver data-driven insights. They will also guide DAI’s strategic initiatives and lead ad-hoc analytical efforts to address evolving business needs. Furthermore, this role will serve as a key liaison between the Wealth Business and other analytical functions within DAI. A strong technical skillset encompassing data extraction, manipulation, and compelling data storytelling is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesData-Driven InsightsExtract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to support strategic wealth management decisionsUtilize advanced data analytics techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights relevant to portfolio management, campaign management, and market performanceDesign, develop, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to effectively track performance metrics, client portfolios, and market dynamicsContinuously evaluate and optimize data analytics processes and tools to enhance operational efficiency and ensure data accuracyData StorytellingTranslate complex data findings into clear, concise, and visually compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing business strategyCross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate proactively with senior management and stakeholders to identify critical business questions and deliver data-driven recommendationsWork closely with Technology and Data Engineering teams to ensure the availability, accuracy, and integrity of data utilized for analytical purposesRequired Skills & Experience:5+ years of hands-on experience working with data, preferably within the wealth management or financial services industryDemonstrated ability in data retrieving, manipulation, and storytelling in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentExperience working with Snowflake, Big Data (e.g., Hadoop ecosystem), and Teradata environmentsProven track record of working with Python, PySpark, Dataiku, SQL, and SASStrong expertise in Python and other data analytics tools for robust data processing, analysis, and visualization (e.g., pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, Seaborn)Exceptional problem-solving abilities with expertise in synthesizing business requirements and constructing suitable data analysis frameworksProven ability to create data-driven narratives and effectively communicate insights to both technical and business stakeholdersSolid understanding of database structures, data warehousing principles, and ETL processesExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering accurate and actionable insightsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environmentPreferred Skills:Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikFamiliarity with machine learning techniques and statistical analysis in a financial contextBasic understanding of common practices related to financial data and reportingPrior experience working in a wealth management firm or financial institutionExperience with Generative AI (Gen AI) is a plusEducation:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
