Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the evaluation of imaging results and laboratory tests
• Work closely with surgeons in formulating and implementing tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments during procedures
• Render outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, wound management, discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• Master's qualification from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a preference for a surgical focus

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
