- Assist Occupational Therapists in the design and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents to achieve their maximum functional potential
- Perform occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and modalities, under the supervision of the occupational therapist
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate resident progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Participate in resident care conferences and case studies to ensure continuity of care
- Utilize exceptional communication skills to interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Nevada
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology
- Per Diem position at Coronado Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, Nevada
