Senior Investment Content Writer We are looking for a Senior Investment Content Writer to manage the creation of investment content and marketing materials that educate individual investors, financial advisors, and institutional investors about investing in gold and specifically gold exchange-traded funds (ETFs). You will report to the Gold ETF team's Marketing Manager who will help prioritize projects and assign deadlines. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, writing, and editing of relevant long-form investment content and short-form promotional content to educate retail, intermediary, and institutional investors about investing in gold and specifically gold exchange-traded funds. Additionally, you will partner with research, product, and marketing teams to support relevant marketing promotions and campaigns across web, social, and other channels. You are a seasoned self-starter who excels at working both independently and collaboratively with subject matter experts. You possess a strong investment writing background alongside a content marketing skillset that includes: content planning, content writing, copyediting, web writing, email writing, social writing, and SEO. Day to day: Primarily around gold investing, gold ETF's, how gold benefits portfolio Collaboration with strategy team (articles, white papers, collateral for sales team), write social media posts, review advertising creative Helping manage content calendar, following correct workflow Everything goes through a compliance review system before publishing Working with our gold subject matter experts means checking all the data in a submitted draft, often digging through the data to frame a compelling story, working with the SMEs to get their buy-in on edits/repositioning (which can be difficult), and finally choosing what to promote on social or via DM and crafting those messages. The writer also should be able to generate story ideas and write drafts of her own to share with the team. This requires both market knowledge and an understanding of Compliance rule • What are the top must-haves? Need writing samples provided 10-15+ years of relevant investment writing and/or financial marketing communications experience; a thorough understanding of financial markets and investing concepts; ETF know-how preferred Investment Writing Experience - Ideally in the ETF (Exchange Trading Fund) or gold industry Copywriter Proofreader - must be strong Detail-oriented - working with compliance to ensure things are published exactly as approved Software skills include: Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel • What are the top 3 "nice to have" that would separate a successful candidate from their competition? - Content Strategy - Operational/Project Management - Social Media Copywriting ShiftCode Analytics
