Instructional Designer

Position Description Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer for an ongoing Contract, fully remote, part time 10-20 hours a week to support the design, development, and deployment of training for Cornerstone Caregiving's internal employees working in the home care industry. In this role you will develop engaging, accessible, role-based learning solutions. The Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer will work with program leadership, subject matter experts and system implementation partners. Content to be created will include instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), eLearning, simulations, job aids, microlearning, knowledge-library resources, and other performance-support products supporting both core system training and role-based curricula. Key Responsibilities Analyze system functionality, business processes, user roles, tasks, workflows, requirements, and source documentation to identify learning and performance needs. Design role-based learning solutions that align course content with the specific tasks learners will perform in the home care environment. Develop instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and self-paced eLearning products supporting role-specific processes. Develop course outlines, detailed design documents, storyboards, facilitator materials, participant materials, exercises, assessments, job aids, reference materials, and other instructional products. Develop short-form and microlearning content, including video- and avatar-supported learning products, as appropriate. Create learning activities and assessments that measure the learner's ability to perform required job tasks rather than simply recall information. Incorporate adult-learning principles, instructional design best practices, usability standards, and performance-based learning approaches throughout the development process. Collaborate with subject matter experts, system implementation personnel. Develop learning products that support initial deployment as well as just-in-time, refresher, remedial, and sustainment training. Support quality assurance reviews and ensure final learning products meet contractual, program, instructional, accessibility, and technical requirements. Required Qualifications Five year's experience working as an Instructional Designer; must have portfolio to share with samples of elearnings, ILT and PowerPoints. Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, Articulate Storyline, Vyond, Snagit and LMS platforms. Strong understanding of AI and its productive use in instructional design and development. Demonstrated ability to conduct task, audience, role, workflow, and performance analyses and translate findings into effective learning solutions. Experience developing multiple learning modalities, including instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, eLearning, job aids, simulations, and performance-support materials. Strong knowledge of adult-learning theory, instructional systems design, performance-based learning, and learner-centered design principles. Experience developing role-based training that connects system functionality to the specific responsibilities and tasks performed by different user groups. Experience collaborating effectively with subject matter experts, technical teams, instructors, editors, accessibility specialists, project managers, and other stakeholders. Experience working within structured review, quality assurance, and approval processes. Strong writing, editing, communication, organization, and analytical skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
