Inventory Control Specialist

Our client is a stable, 25-year-old importer/distributor of custom-engineered components serving medical, HVAC, automotive, and consumer product manufacturers across the U.S. and Canada. This newly created role closes the loop between what gets purchased, what arrives, and what the books say. What you'll do Reconcile inbound shipments against open purchase orders and record receipts Verify shipments against POs, flag shortages/overages/damage Reconcile warehouse inventory against accounting records and resolve variances end to end Allocate freight and warehousing costs into landed cost for accurate margins Assist with commission calculations and month-end close What you bring 2–4 years in inventory control, AP, purchasing, order entry, or shipping/receiving Hands-on experience matching POs to receipts and resolving discrepancies yourself Comfort in accounting software, strong Excel, ability to work across two systems International shipping/landed cost exposure a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
