Installer Service Specialist

The Installer Service Specialist is an experienced and technical parts specialist who services the needs of professional customers through the store’s installer counter. This position will oversee and direct the daily activity of the delivery specialist to ensure customers receive accurate and timely order deliveries. Key Responsibilities Build sales relationships with installers and professional customers. Take customer orders over the phone and online, invoice orders, pick and stage parts for delivery, and route delivery specialists. Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards, complete vehicle inspections on time, and record daily mileage on fleet management devices. Collaborate with Sales Specialists/Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service to professional customers. Verify that all product/merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave the store. Ensure timely pickup and credit of customers’ new core and warranty returns. Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and correctly tag/labeled all returns. Assist on the front counter and retail counter as needed. Handle backroom duties such as auto‑load, returns, and stock as required. Process customer labor claims quickly and efficiently. Perform any other duties assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong background in mechanics. Above‑average communication skills. Hands‑on knowledge of automotive repairs (desired). A.S.E. Certification (desired).
