Compensation: $36.00–$49.16 per hour

Gross Earnings: $432.00–$589.92 for a 12-Hour Shift (before taxes and deductions; overtime will be compensated as per applicable laws)

Shifts: 12-Hour shifts available, including Days, Nights, and Mid Shifts.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers prompt, high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening situations in a dynamic Emergency Department.

  • Evaluate, prioritize, and triage patients according to established clinical guidelines.
  • Administer emergency nursing care, treatments, and life-saving measures.
  • Provide medications, blood products, and IV therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and communicate any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
  • Assist in emergency procedures, trauma care, diagnostic tests, and patient stabilization.
  • Operate and oversee emergency and life-support equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Promote patient safety, quality care, and favorable clinical outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

  • Must possess a current and valid state RN License.
  • Hold a current BLS certification upon hire and maintain it.
  • ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and must be kept current.
  • PALS certification and/or ENPC required within 30 days of hire and must be maintained.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification needed within 30 days of hire.
  • Certification as an Emergency Nurse (CEN) is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Facility-Specific Requirements:

  • For Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN certification required within 12 months of hire and must be maintained.
  • EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric courses 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.
  • Non-OB facilities: NRP certification required within 90 days of hire and must be maintained.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) must be completed within 12 months of hire.

The estimated compensation for this role, which includes wages, benefits, and other forms of remuneration, ranges from $36.00 to $49.16 per hour. The exact starting salary will be determined based on various factors, including skills, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
