Radiation Therapist - Full Time

Job Summary Provides ionizing radiation therapy to patients following physician prescriptions, ensuring safety and accuracy during treatment. Responsibilities Include Preparing treatment rooms and equipment according to prescriptions and patient needs. Delivering prescribed radiation doses while observing safety protocols. Explaining procedures to patients and monitoring for reactions or complications. Maintaining detailed treatment records and patient charts. Supervising and evaluating clinical students' practical skills. Performing additional related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Required certifications: ARRT-T and TRT. Preferred education: Bachelor's and Master's degrees in radiological technology. Experience in radiologic technology is preferred. Must hold a state fluoroscopy permit (preferred), CPR/BLS certification (preferred), and facility-specific BLS certification. Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and record-keeping. #J-18808-Ljbffr Health Marketing
