Our team of 80+ coaches is committed to our four Core Values: We are Fun We are a Team We Pursue Excellence We Make a Difference Benefits/Perks $20-$30/hour after completing paid training period (training paid at $15/hour) Part-time flexible schedule Locations available around the greater Austin area: Austin, Georgetown, Round Rock, Leander, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Hutto, Buda, San Marcos, Kyle, Lakeway, and Dripping Springs Leadership training Communicative, supportive team centered on a culture of fun and excellence Fulfilling opportunity positively impacting children through soccer Ideal Candidates Are Enthusiastic and fun Patient and adaptable Professional and punctual Collaborative and communicative Confident and excited to work with children (can safely manage class of up to 12 children) Soccer/sports enthusiasts Position Details Soccer Shots offers noncompetitive, introductory soccer classes (“sessions”) on a weekly basis at parks, preschools, daycares, indoor facilities, and elementary schools around the greater Austin area. Schedules are created seasonally (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) and determined based on one’s availability and location. Coaches must be able to commit to an entire season schedule (8-10 weeks). Hours Weekend shifts generally run from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with some afternoon shifts on Sundays from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Session times may vary depending on enrollment. Additional shifts available throughout the week if requested. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License Pass an FBI Criminal Background Check Fully authorized to work in the US without restriction Currently live in the greater Austin metropolitan area Currently certified or able to become CPR & First Aid certified Coaching or childhood education experience preferred Coach With the Best 8-time winner of Austin Chronicle's Best Youth Sports Program 2023 & 2024 winner of Austin Family Magazine’s Readers Poll Favorite Soccer Program Soccer Shots is an equal opportunity employer.
