Supporting the Bakery & Cookies category within the Snacks division, you will translate brand strategy into clear execution priorities, shape category trade management, and serve as the voice of the customer and Sales teams across the organization.This is a hybrid role based in Camden, NJ with approximately 10–20% travel and an expectation of working in the office three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.What You Will Do…Partner with Customer Sales Leads, Customer Vice Presidents, Sales Finance, Category Strategy, Supply Chain, Omni Marketing, and Brand Marketing to identify and execute initiatives that deliver brand and sales objectives.Co-develop customer- and channel-specific Gross Sales, Net Sales, and trade Annual Operating Plan targets with Revenue Management.Partner with Revenue Management and Customer Sales Leads to develop and optimize promotional support plans within established guardrails, maximizing return on investment.Collaborate with Category Management and Customer Sales Leads to optimize assortment and innovation goals based on national item priorities established by Category Strategy.Own communication of customer forecasts and business drivers to internal partners supporting Demand Planning and the monthly Integrated Business Planning process.Identify risks and opportunities against the annual plan and develop solutions that balance customer and business needs.Lead execution of category big bets, including innovation and in-store seasonal drive windows.Who You Will Work With…You will work closely with Customer Sales Leads, Customer Vice Presidents, Marketing and Brand teams, Finance, Supply Chain, Shopper Insights, Omni Marketing, Go To Market, Category Strategy, Revenue Management, and Sales Execution partners. You will report to the Senior Director, Customer Strategy for Bakery & Cookies and operate in a highly matrixed environment.What You Bring to the Table… (Must Have)Bachelor’s degree.8+ years of CPG sales experience including customer strategy/trade marketing.Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, negotiation, and process management skills.Experience in customer sales or customer management.Comfort working in a highly matrixed environment.Financial acumen, specifically related to retailer/customer P&Ls and trade management.Demonstrated ability to influence and sell across functions.It Would be Great if You Have… (Nice to Have)Food industry experience.Experience working with direct-store-delivery and direct routes to market.Experience in Revenue Growth Management.Experience in Sales Finance.Experience in Category Management or Category Strategy.MBA PreferredCompensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $141,700-$194,800Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
