Job Summary:
A Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) position is available in a fullerton, California healthcare facility. This role involves ensuring that surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared for use in an acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Fullerton, California
• Shift: Evenings (M-F schedule, no call)
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/13/2026
• Required Qualifications: California State License; Certifications including BLS, IAHCSMM/HSPA, CRCST; 2 years of experience in sterile processing or a related field; Must include RTO (Reasonable Time Off) requests at time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with acute hospital OR, aseptic technique, biological indicators, chemical agents for decontamination, equipment documentation, sterilization testing/monitoring, and use of washers/sterilizers.
• Additional Information: Scrubs provided (navy blue). Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays. Vaccination policies vary; COVID-19 vaccine not required, flu vaccine unknown. Candidates should have the LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) are required. Candidates who have worked at a Providence facility in any capacity should include details. The position involves floating between facilities within the state as needed.
