The Security Analyst is responsible for the administration and maintenance of IT security systems. Job responsibilities will also include auditing and reporting of systems and applications.What you'll be doingActively monitor and support internal and external infrastructure systems (Incident & Problem Management), liaising with colleagues as neededManage SIEM solution, creation of dashboards and alerts. Review security events and escalate to security and Infrastructure teams as needed.Manage Security Awareness solution and phishing exercises, train users on best practices and provide remediation training for users who fail phishing tests.Review Vulnerability Management Tool findings and work with IT support to remediate issuesSupport the Chief Information Security Officer in developing an IT security assurance programDevelop general and detailed documentation describing security controls, system specifications, and operating instructionsHelp staff with use of the security system software, providing training whereQualifications and SkillsA strong understanding of security & networking technologiesPrevious experience managing a SIEM solutionIncident Management experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to cope and work under pressureA results-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing prioritiesFamiliar with key security models and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.Technical Profile2+ years' experience implementing and managing MicrosoftAutomation tools and applicationsBachelor's Degree.Experience managing a SIEM solutionExperience providing end users training on security best practicesAble to demonstrate an understanding of ISO27001 and information security best practices (Identity and Access management, Incident Management, etc.)Experience preparing project documentation and managing projects through to completionDesirable Knowledge and ExperienceCompTIA+ Security or equivalent certificationEndpoint management solutionsVirus protection & other prevention solutionsMobile Device ManagementInterest in obtaining CISSP or equivalent certificationOtherParticipate in out-of-hour support coverageThe salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. This role follows a flexible hybrid schedule, with the resource expected in the office 1–4 days per week on a need basis.
