Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Wichita, KS. We are seeking a dedicated clinician to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills in a 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting. The unit uses Meditech for documentation and is equipped with patient lifts, ESTIM, ADL and IADL equipment, a full IADL kitchen, and standard gym equipment. Clinicians are expected to be hands-on, track therapy time/charges, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary therapy team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active KS Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 6 months current acute care Occupational Therapy experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with ESTIM, patient lifts, ADL/IADL training, and standard rehab gym equipment.
• Experience documenting in Meditech preferred.
• Ability to manage up to a 6-hour treatment load within an 8-hour shift and to track required therapy minutes for inpatient rehab patients.
• Willingness to work rotating weekends as scheduled. Every other weekend is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Neuro certification or neuro experience.
• Lymphedema certification or experience.
• Previous experience working on a multidisciplinary rehab team.
