Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Iowa City, Iowa. This position involves providing psychiatric care within a geriatric psychiatry unit, focusing on adult and elderly patients with diagnoses such as dementia, depression, anxiety, Parkinsons disease, and Huntingtons disease. The role includes medication management, assistance with activities of daily living, and electroconvulsive therapy.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Crisis Prevention Institute / Mobile Outreach Assistance for Behavior (CPI/MOAB); valid licensure to practice in the state of Iowa; minimum of 0 years of experience in psychiatric or geriatric nursing; located in Iowa City, IA or willing to commute.
• Additional Information: No float rotation required. No local candidates that live within 60 miles radius are eligible.
