Employment Program Manager I (EPM I)The EDD Workforce Services Branch (WSB) is seeking qualified candidates for the Employment Program Manager I (EPM I) position at the Capitola AJCC within the Los Angeles Coastal Workforce Services Division. As an EPM I, you will join a diverse and dedicated team committed to helping Californians return to the workforce.If you are a motivated professional who values public service and thrives in a positive, collaborative environment, this may be the opportunity for you. The Employment Program Manager I (EPM I) will be responsible for monitoring, overseeing, planning, influencing a positive working environment, and organizing Wagner-Peyser programs within the confines of an America's Job Center office with the Capitola/Salinas Cluster. As a member of the Capitola/Salinas Cluster management team, you will participate in developing and implementing goals, objectives, policies, and standards applicable in the support of Title III of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.Overnight travel may be required.Position exists in Capitola, CATravel may be required within the cluster and other offices.Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month.
