Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 2+ years Stepdown or ICU experience. - Must be competent with insulin gtts, precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and BiPAP.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience with post-op surgical patients and traumas is helpful.

Special Requests: - Blocked scheduling would need facility approval. - Confirmation required within 5 days of offer. - RTO of 5 days or less must make up the week on the back end.

Unit Details: - Equipment includes IV pumps, computers, glucometer, and GE monitoring equipment. - Patient population includes post-cardiac cath, Afib, CHF, general medical overflow, stable MI, post-heart caths with interventions, medical cardiac, pacemaker insertion, non-titrated cardiac drips, and other medical overflow patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends as required by facility. - Call requirements as required by the facility. - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. - Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
