Senior Employee Relations Lead

What You’ll Do: Promote a positive employee experience by helping managers navigate challenging situations with consistency, empathy, accountability, and sound judgment Partner closely with managers to build confidence and capability in handling day‑to‑day employee situations, including feedback delivery, accountability conversations, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy application Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, supporting intake, assessment, and resolution of employee concerns, determining appropriate next steps and escalation pathways when needed Lead broader employee relations programs, such as exit and 90‑day feedback, using data to identify patterns and recommend improvement opportunities to leadership Develop and maintain tools, templates, guides, and resources that promote consistent employee relations and performance practices, and improve manager effectiveness Work independently to conduct and lead complex, sensitive investigations from intake through recommendation, ensuring thorough and consistent documentation Partner with HR Operations, Legal, Compliance, and HRBPs to ensure employee matters are handled consistently, professionally, and in alignment with company policies and values What You’ll Need to Succeed: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree 10+ years of relevant experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently convey complex findings and adapt to different communication styles Strong relationship building skills, including the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and provide constructive feedback Ability to analyze complex situations, generate effective solutions, and see those solutions through to completion Creativity and resourcefulness to determine methods and approaches for new or complex assignments Ability to manage multiple investigations and projects while handling shifting priorities Proactive in sharing knowledge and contributing to the development of ER capabilities across HR Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table: Advanced HR certification (SPHR, SHRM‑SCP) Multi‑state or global employment law experience Experience improving or supporting ER programs, processes, or frameworks We’ll also need you to: Be able to work in the office at least three days per week to foster collaboration with the team and stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr Iridium Communications Inc
