Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care delivery for assigned Medical Surgical patients
• Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team throughout the assigned shift
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Active Illinois RN license (must reflect Active status on Nursys)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (required within 30 days of start)
• Completed skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to Medical Surgical or Telemetry specialty
• Two completed supervisory reference forms with dates of employment listed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Background in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing in an acute care setting
