Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a current SLP license valid in North Carolina
• ASHA certification or eligibility
• Previous experience working in school settings (elementary, middle, and/or high school preferred)
• Skills in creating individualized education plans (IEPs) and completing assessments
• Ability to provide 1:1 and small group speech therapy sessions
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across a range of grade levels
• Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation of student progress
• Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents
• Apply evidence-based practices to meet students’ diverse communication needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and interdisciplinary activities as needed
