Business Analyst

Job title: Business Analyst Location: Miami, FL Key Skillsets Energy and Utility domain SAP ISU with Utility billing experience (Meter to Cash process) Position Specific Description This position will be primarily responsible for supporting daily billing operations and resolving complex billing issues to ensure accurate customer billing and system functionality. Responsibilities Billing Operations Support: Plan and manage assigned billing activities; complete analysis and resolution tasks within established timeframes. Daily Coordination: Participate in team meetings and track work progress using tools such as JIRA, Qmetry, Teams, and Outlook while coordinating with IT, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Technical Analysis: Provide functional expertise on billing systems to ensure timely and effective issue resolution within SAP and CIS environments. Problem-Solving: Apply analytical skills to decompose complex billing discrepancies into manageable components, utilizing Excel for data validation. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for billing processes, system procedures, and operational workflows. AI & Data Enablement: Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, data analysis tools) to support billing analysis, data validation, and issue troubleshooting. AI Integration & Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to incorporate AI-driven solutions into billing workflows and system enhancements. Conduct analyses and prepare reports that provide operation and/or technical support to business operations. Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support medium to large special projects.
