Overview The Interventional Radiology Technician assists in image-guided procedures. This role supports minimally invasive therapies like embolizations and stent placements using fluoroscopy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in interventional radiology and sterile techniques, with experience in radiology settings. Key Responsibilities Operate imaging equipment during procedures like angiograms. Assist radiologists with procedure execution. Prepare patients and maintain sterile fields. Monitor patient vital signs. Document procedures in EHR systems like Epic or PACS. Collaborate with radiology teams. This position is key between minimally invasive treatments.
