Position Responsibilities Evaluate new patients and develop plans of care. Set measurable, functional goals. Treat patients, address their concerns, and provide education on injuries and conditions. Monitor patient response to treatment and intervene as necessary to meet goals. Consult directly with treating physicians and develop relationships with referral providers. Document patient evaluations, re-evaluations, daily progress reports, treatments, and discharges of services in a timely manner and record billable services accurately. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA rules and regulations. Provide physical therapy services in accordance with PT guidelines, ORA clinical policies, and standards. Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Current, unencumbered, active license to practice in the state of Iowa. Preferred experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy (new graduates welcome). Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accurately.
