Job Description

The Warehouse Associate maintains accurate inventory records, supports regular cycle counts, and ensures proper material movement and storage within the warehouse and production areas. This role focuses on inventory accuracy, organization, and adherence to standard work procedures while supporting daily warehouse and production operations. This role is based in a warehouse environment located next to an assembly area in a brand-new facility. The work involves regular physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs, moving materials, and working around warehouse equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners. The facility follows 5S standards, promoting a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances in a timely and thorough manner.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stored, and placed in the correct inventory locations.
• Perform material transactions accurately using inventory systems and complete them promptly.
• Stage and issue materials to production as required to support manufacturing schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse in accordance with 5S standards and safety guidelines.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving inventory.
• Use RF scanners and related warehouse technology to track and update inventory data.
• Collaborate with production and other teams to ensure material availability and workflow continuity.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Hands-on experience with inventory control, including cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution.
• Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting and verifying incoming materials.
• Forklift operation experience, with current certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Proficiency using RF scanners for inventory tracking and material transactions.
• Basic math skills for counting, reconciliation, and inventory adjustments.
• Basic data entry skills and computer literacy for working with inventory management or ERP systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks such as bending, standing, and moving materials.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse environment adjacent to production or assembly areas.
• Familiarity with 5S or similar organizational and workplace efficiency methodologies.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Background in material handling, warehouse inventory processes, and inventory control best practices.
• Comfort working with shipping and receiving documentation such as packing slips and purchase orders.

This is a Permanent position based out of Stafford, VA.

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $41600.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

You will be eligible to the employers match under the Companys 401K plan after you have completed 6 full months of employment with the Company. (c)Paid Time-Off: You will be eligible to earn up to fifteen (15) days of paid vacation per calendar year, which will accrue monthly on a pro-rata basis. Vacation days not used in a specific year can be accumulated for use in future years up to a maximum of ten (10) days in total.

This is a fully onsite position in Stafford,VA.
