Senior Data Analyst (Pricing & Business Analytics) Rockford, IL - Hybrid About the Role Seeking a data‑driven Senior Data Analyst to support pricing strategy and business analytics across the Americas for a global distribution organization. This is a newly created, high‑impact role created as the company transitions from a centralized European pricing model to a regional approach. This position blends advanced data analysis with business strategy, giving you the opportunity to influence pricing decisions, improve profitability, and optimize business performance. You'll partner closely with Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Product Management, and Operations to transform complex data into actionable business insights. The role offers significant visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to help shape the future of the company’s pricing and analytics function. Responsibilities Analyze pricing, margin, and market data to support strategic business decisions Develop dashboards, reports, and data models using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI Build and modify SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets Identify pricing trends, discrepancies, and opportunities to improve profitability Support supplier pricing updates and pricing governance across business systems Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Operations, and Product Management to provide data‑driven recommendations Translate complex data into clear business insights for leadership Evaluate opportunities to improve pricing processes through automation and future AI‑driven solutions Qualifications 3–6+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, FP&A, Pricing Analytics, or a related analytical role Strong SQL, PowerBI, and advanced Excel skills Experience working with large, complex datasets and building analytical models Understanding of business metrics such as gross margin, profitability, pricing, or revenue analysis Ability to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Experience in distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or pricing environments is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing Services
