Pay Rate: Starting at $21.82/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:45 PM and Saturday, 8:30 AM-2:30 PM

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Bank Teller to join a growing branch team. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service experience, cash-handling skills, and a passion for helping customers achieve their financial goals. Prior banking experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to members and prospective members.
• Assist customers with a variety of financial products and services, including:
  • Checking and savings accounts
  • Certificates and IRAs
  • Trust and estate accounts
  • Credit and debit card services
  • Consumer lending products
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other account transactions accurately.
• Handle cash transactions while maintaining balancing and security standards.
• Educate customers on available products and services that best meet their needs.
• Resolve customer concerns and provide alternative solutions when needed.
• Complete administrative and data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
• Collaborate with branch team members to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a retail, banking, hospitality, or service-based environment.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Banking or financial services experience is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Groton, CT.

The pay range for this position is $21.82 - $21.82/hr.
