The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria serves as a regional campus of one of the largest public medical schools in the United States. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our Peoria campus is seeking General OB/GYN physicians for full-time or part-time positions. These roles involve delivering comprehensive healthcare in both inpatient and outpatient environments, as well as actively participating in the education and clinical training of residents and medical students. Our expanding program allows for a position tailored to your interests in OB/GYN patient care, teaching future physicians, and enjoying a flexible work/life balance.

• Deliver direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology across both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Engage in the education of residents and medical students within the clinical context of obstetrics and gynecology, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
• Participate in scholarly activities.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.

• Proven experience in teaching residents and medical students.
• Interest or experience in research and academic leadership is preferred.

Our academic offices are connected to a quaternary care hospital featuring a Level I Trauma Center, one of the most comprehensive neuroscience centers in the Midwest, and the largest children's hospital in downstate Illinois. The anticipated salary range for this role is $350,000 to $400,000 per year, with compensation being competitive and based on qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
