About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified CT Tech in Bakersfield, California, 93301!

CT Technologist

Location:  Bakersfield, CA

Start Date:  06-08-2026

End Date:  09-07-2026

Shift Type:  Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM with every other weekend, holidays (1 major & 1 minor), and call (30 min response)

Hours per Week: 36

Roles & Responsibilities

• Capture crystal-clear CT images of brains, abdomens, pelvis, spines, extremities, and more to aid precise diagnoses
• Perform specialized procedures like biopsies, drainages, angio, and cryoablation with expert precision
• Collaborate with radiologists and leads using top-notch Canon 16/64-slice scanners and Radnet/Merge Unity systems
• Contribute to a high-volume department handling 65 scans daily, making a real impact on patient care

Education

• Completion of accredited radiologic technology program (ARRT eligible)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in diverse CT studies including brain, abdomen, pelvis, spine, biopsies, and interventional procedures
• Skilled operation of Canon 16/64-slice CT scanners
• Familiarity with Radnet and Merge Unity EMR/PACS systems
• Adaptable to floating to nearby facilities when needed

Requirements

• At least 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Active BLS certification
• ARRT-CT certification
• California CTI certification
