Growing together.As a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison with CPS Solutions, LLC, you will support the daily operations of the health system's specialty pharmacy, with a primary focus on prescription processing and dispensing support. Working closely with pharmacists and the pharmacy team, you will help ensure timely and accurate medication fulfillment while supporting pharmacy workflow and service operations. This position works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.Pharmacy Location: Located onsite within Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica, NYSchedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm, 40 hours per weekPrimary Responsibilities:Prepare and dispense medications by measuring, counting, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacistProcess prescription orders accurately, including entering patient and prescription data into pharmacy systemsAssist pharmacists and healthcare providers by gathering necessary information and supporting workflow efficiencyProcess and coordinate specialty medication prescriptions, often for complex or chronic conditionsManage prior authorizations and insurance requirements, working closely with payers and providersCoordinate patient onboarding and refills, ensuring adherence to therapy schedulesHandle medication distribution logistics, including cold-chain management and direct-to-patient shippingMaintain detailed documentation and reporting, meeting REMS, FDA, and manufacturer program requirementsProvide high-touch patient support, addressing non-clinical questions and navigating access barriersEnsure compliance with specialty pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, and quality metricsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentRecent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally in specialty or outpatient settingsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a health system, hospital, specialty, or retail pharmacy settingExperience with prescription dispensing, medication verification, and pharmacy operationsSolid knowledge of medication therapies, age-specific dosing, and pharmacy regulationsProficiency with pharmacy dispensing systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment.
