Ambulance Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)Location: Valentine NEShift: PRNBase Pay: Starts at $17.65 per hour, with higher pay based on experience.On-Call: Must be available to respond to 9-1-1 calls when paged; paid $2.00 per hour while on call.Call-Back Pay: Time and a half when called in, with a minimum of one hour of pay.Position SummaryWe are seeking a qualified and compassionate Ambulance Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality emergency medical care and ensuring the safe transport of patients. The EMT will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide efficient, patient-centered care in emergency situations.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to emergency calls and provide appropriate pre-hospital medical careAssess patient conditions and determine necessary treatment within scope of practiceAdminister medications and perform approved medical proceduresSafely transport patients to medical facilities for further evaluation and treatmentCommunicate effectively with receiving facilities and healthcare personnel to ensure continuity of careAccurately document patient care and maintain thorough medical recordsEnsure ambulance, equipment, and medical supplies are clean, stocked, and in proper working conditionPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience as an Ambulance EMTAdvanced EMT certificationFamiliarity with local EMS protocols and proceduresWe are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
