If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.As a Branch Controller you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the completeness and accuracy of month end closing and other accounting functions. You will also be heavily engaged in a variety of operational and cross-functional discussions to drive the business to greater results. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by supporting the financial functions for our locations in Carthage, MO and Winchester, KY. The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought. So, what will you be doing as a Branch Controller?Collaborate across Bedding Segment to maintain consistent business processesReview and verify accuracy of financial statementsMaintain compliance with policy and procedures and assist with Internal Audit visits/requestsManage and complete the month-end close processDevelop relationships with Branch personnel to provide support and information sharing on a regular basis as appropriateFulfill requests of Corporate Departments (Accounting, Tax, Risk, Credit, etc.)Complete/oversee costing of inventoryTo be successful in this role, you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting5+ years of accounting experience, preference in manufacturingExcellent analytical skills with attention to detailUnderstanding of Cost Accounting and methodologiesA self-starter with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesAbility to communicate key data and insight to others within the Branch and Bedding organizationStrong Excel skills and the ability to convert data to informationHigh degree of professionalism and ethical standardsThings we consider a plus:Master’s degree.What to Do NextNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
