Demand Planner

Location: Remote – Headquarters in Raleigh NC

We are currently working with a rapidly growing distribution company to fill a Demand Planner role. This position will own demand forecasting across the business, lead monthly Sales and Operations Planning discussions, and support purchasing and inbound inventory coordination. Position Description:

• Maintain a monthly forecast and drive the demand planning process.
• Help develop and then lead monthly Sales and Marketing S&OP meetings, working with cross-functional teams to align demand expectations and operational plans.
• Maintain ERP data integrity through data cleansing, validation, and targeted checks.
• Update and maintain regular KPI reporting.
• This is a lean team, and this role will provide support to purchasing and scheduling at times.
• Participate in the financial budgeting process.

Background Required:

• Highly energetic individual with at least 2-4 years finished goods forecasting / demand planning experience.
• Experience working with long lead times (global imports).
• Strong Excel skills and experience using Advance Planning Systems (APS).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills, personal integrity, and a commitment to teamwork and results.
• Proven track record of success in similar role.
