We're a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, including 9 breast centers, dedicated to our team members' growth and development through our internal multi-modality training program, and we want you.

Facility: Novant Health Imaging South Asheville

Location: 1815 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, NC 28803 (base location, mammography coach will travel up to an hour and a half from the facility)

Position Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4x10

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Mobile Mammography Technologist to join our team. This team member will be responsible for operating mobile mammography units, performing mammograms, and ensuring high-quality imaging services to patients in various locations. This role requires excellent patient care, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently in a mobile setting.

• Operate mobile mammography equipment to perform high-quality mammograms
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on equipment
• Travel to various locations as required, including community centers, workplaces, and healthcare facilities
• Educate patients about the mammography process and answer any questions they may have
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT certification in Mammography (M) required
• Completed required CEU's in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
• Active state licensure, where applicable

Prior Experience:

• 0 to 2+ years of experience as a Mammography (M) Technologist

Special Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile mammography units
