Maintenance Mechanic

Red River Brick, a premier brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S., is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support plant operations at our Henderson, Texas manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a mechanically skilled individual with experience in preventive maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting.

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This position includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, fabricating parts, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance and repairs on motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production machinery; troubleshooting mechanical issues using diagrams, manuals, and measuring instruments; removing and replacing defective parts using hand, power, and welding tools; fabricating repair parts and assisting with machinery fabrication as needed; maintaining inventory, documenting work completed, and communicating equipment needs; following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work environment; and lifting up to 75–100 lbs as required.

Skills and qualifications include mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience; welding and basic fabrication skills; ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and manuals; proficiency with hand, power, and precision tools; strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills; and commitment to workplace safety and reliability.

This is a full-time position with some overtime required.
