Mammography Technologist

Role: Mammography Technologist responsible for performing mammographic procedures across clinical sites, including mobile units, ensuring high-quality images with proper positioning, technique, and minimal radiation exposure. Key Responsibilities: Manage electronic data and image processing, review exams for accuracy, transfer images to PACS, and verify data. Instruct radiology students and new staff on clinical and safety protocols. Conduct maintenance and quality control checks, report issues, and ensure supply inventory. Coordinate and schedule examinations. Qualifications and Skills: Must hold applicable radiologic technologist certification, with completed mammography training (40 hours), and meet state licensing requirements. Current BLS certification required. Ability to communicate clearly, work independently, prioritize tasks, and assist with patient movement. Preferred: One year of mammography experience and proficiency with electronic medical records and email systems. Compensation & Benefits: Hourly pay range from $47.83 to $75.59, with a sign-on bonus of $15,000.
