The Job As the Process Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing daily engineering support to manufacturing operations to resolve schedule attainment issues and improve efficiency. (Processes may include a mix of milling, heat treat, welding, punch, finishing, printing or packaging) Specifically, you'll: Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting and resolving process issues Identify and lead initiatives to improve cost, quality, service, throughput, and yield within assigned areas Support and implement improvements related to process safety and operational risk assessments Evaluate capital planning needs and support equipment upgrades, modifications, and technology investments Lead new equipment Installations and existing equipment modifications Implement new equipment processes and procedures Liaison with suppliers, customers, and research & development staff Create drawings for tooling modification and gage design Support new product launches Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute process trials, experiments, and data-driven improvement projects Document technical findings, communicate recommendations clearly, and contribute to effective team decision-making Troubleshoot robotics Execute other duties as assigned. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
