Marketing Executive

We are looking for a practical, creative Marketing Executive to manage marketing activity across two key workplace safety brands: one focused on workplace safety products and accessories, and the other specializing in automated industrial safety solutions.

This role combines digital marketing, content creation, and graphic design with website management, Amazon product launches, and product development support.

You will take work from the initial brief through to delivery and performance review, working closely with sales, leadership, suppliers, freelancers, and external partners. The role suits someone who enjoys varied work, can organize their priorities independently, and is comfortable moving between creative tasks and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Planning and Campaign Management

• Plan and maintain a marketing calendar across both brands.
• Coordinate campaigns around product launches, events, and sales priorities.
• Create and manage HubSpot email campaigns, including copy, design, audience segments, scheduling, and reporting.
• Set up, monitor, and optimize Google Ads campaigns within agreed budgets.
• Review results and recommend improvements that support enquiries, sales, and business growth.

2. Social Media and Content

• Plan, create, and schedule content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Write captions, blogs, website copy, product descriptions, and other marketing content.
• Create graphics, carousels, and short videos suited to each platform.
• Apply basic SEO principles and coordinate specialist work with freelancers.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and accurate product information across channels.

3. Website Management and Reporting

• Publish and update blogs, product information, and other website content using Webflow CMS and Shopify.
• Check page formatting, images, links, and mobile layouts.
• Use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to review traffic, engagement, and search performance.
• Report against agreed KPIs and identify practical opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in weekly sales and marketing meetings and quarterly reviews, preparing updates and presentations.

4. Graphic Design and Creative Production

• Create original graphics for campaigns, sales materials, and requests from the team.
• Develop catalogues and brochures from scratch, including structure, copywriting, page layout, and final artwork.
• Design presentations for sales, events, and internal meetings.
• Create product packaging, labels, datasheets, and supporting artwork.
• Edit product photographs and videos for websites, social media, and Amazon.
• Prepare production-ready files and maintain organized source files and approved versions.

5. Artwork and Event Support

• Create bespoke projection and signage artwork.
• Produce projection mock-ups on customer photographs to illustrate proposed solutions.
• Use SketchUp to develop event stand layouts and visual mock-ups.
• Prepare exhibition graphics, invitations, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate artwork requirements and deadlines with colleagues and suppliers.

6. Product Development Support

• Communicate with suppliers about product specifications, branding, packaging, and samples.
• Request quotations, minimum order quantities, and lead times.
• Coordinate sample feedback and document agreed changes.
• Prepare product specifications, datasheets, packaging, and label artwork.
• Keep product information consistent across supplier documents, sales materials, and marketing content.

7. Amazon Product Launches and Listing Management

• Research competitors, pricing, product features, and positioning using Amazon and Jungle Scout.
• Write listing titles, bullet points, and descriptions.
• Create listing images and A+ content.
• Upload assets and update content through Amazon Seller Central.
• Check listings for errors, missing content, and opportunities for improvement.
• Set up promotions using agreed products, dates, and discounts.
• Coordinate with account contacts on issues requiring additional support.

8. Partner and Freelancer Coordination

• Brief freelancers, review deliverables, and coordinate feedback.
• Work with industry affiliations and other partners on relevant content, events, and marketing opportunities.
• Maintain clear communication on deadlines, progress, and next steps.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable experience delivering digital marketing campaigns and creative content.
• Practical experience with Google Ads, email marketing, social media, and basic SEO.
• Strong graphic design skills, including creating artwork from scratch and preparing files for print.
• Ability to write clear, accurate copy in British English.
• Experience designing presentations and editing marketing videos.
• Confidence interpreting performance data and turning findings into useful actions.
• Strong organization and attention to detail when managing work across multiple brands.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
• Willingness to learn technical products and communicate their features clearly.

Tools and Platforms

• Marketing & Reporting: HubSpot, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Buffer.
• Design & Video: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Canva. (Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills are important).
• Websites: Webflow CMS, Shopify.
• E-Commerce: Amazon Seller Central, Jungle Scout.
• Event Visualisation: SketchUp.
• AI Support: ChatGPT for research assistance, ideas, and drafting (with outputs checked for accuracy).

• Marketing for B2B, industrial, safety, or technical products.
• Supporting product development and communicating with overseas suppliers.
• Creating Amazon A+ content and product launch assets.
• Designing packaging, catalogues, and exhibition materials.
