Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic Location: Portland, OR 97217 Department: Manufacturing & Operations Travel: No Travel Required Overview We currently have an immediate opening for an experienced, career minded Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The position will be active in developing a culture of an incident free workplace, continuous improvement of equipment reliability and reducing costs to support the business success. The plant is a 24/7 operation. Successful applicants must be available to work all shifts and overtime. Job Requirements Ensures proper operation of manufacturing equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on pumps, gear boxes, rollers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines; following diagrams, sketches, OEM operations manuals and manufacturer's instruction; troubleshooting malfunctions, experience in industrial plant maintenance. Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and up-time. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Precision measurement skills are required. Skills in proper lubrication application. Computer skills to support interface with work order system. Expected to supply a standard industrial mechanic set of tools. The company will supply specialty tooling. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Ability to work 8 and/or 12-hour shifts as scheduled plus overtime as needed. Skills that would be a plus Experience with continuous web handling equipment. Troubleshooting skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating machinery performance. Experience with extrusion coating process. State certification. Leadership experience. Hourly Rate $29.45 12 Hour Shift Differential

8 Hour Shift Differential Days – no differential

• 0.30/hour Swing
• 0.40/hour Nights
