This role will be heavily involved in design and should be comfortable adapting to changing requirements. This role will be comfortable learning the business logic of the product. This role works independently and coming up with solutions to unique problems. This role will have direct reports.Essential Job Functions:Work closely with business analysts to design, develop and test new features and functionality for our core productWork closely with support analysts to identify and fix bugsDevelop prototypes and proof of concepts to explore new technologies and determine how to best integrate them into the productCreate clean, reliable, performant code with an eye for future maintainabilitySupervise and mentor direct reportsSuch other activity as may be assigned by your managerQualifications/ Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent.Minimum 7 years’ experience in software development preferredStrong grasp of object-oriented programming and relational database conceptsExpert proficiency with SQL and strong grasp of database conceptsSignificant experience with JAVA and frontend frameworks (JavaScript)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Service Oriented ArchitecturesExperience working with object relational mappingsExperience with Agile development practicesAbility to manage direct reports#LI-AS1 #LI-HybridNote: This job description is not intended to be all inclusive or exclusive. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies.
