BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our outstanding and compassionate team at St. Anthony's!Mental Health Technician Position Details:
- Facility: St. Anthony's
- Location: St. Pete, FL
- Status: Full time, Hourly
- Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
- Weekend Work: Every Other
- On Call: No
- Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
- Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred
- Patient Care Technician - preferred
- High School or Equivalent
- Associate's degree in related field - Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field- Preferred
- 6 months - Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field
