  Internal Audit Associate — Confidential Search
  Position Overview
  A large, publicly traded, multi-location organization is seeking an Internal Audit Associate to assist with planning and performing audits. This role helps assess whether internal controls are effective, operations follow company policies, financial records are reliable, and assets are safeguarded.

  About the Opportunity
  This role offers exposure to accounting, finance, compliance, and operations within a large organization with domestic and international operations.
• • Assist with setting audit objectives, planning audit scope, and performing testing.
  • Prepare detailed workpapers that support audit findings and conclusions.
  • Help draft audit reports and present observations and recommendations.
  • Review management’s proposed and completed corrective actions.
  • Communicate significant issues to the Audit Senior during fieldwork.
  • Support external auditors by coordinating testing and providing documentation.
  • Help evaluate the effectiveness of the company’s control processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Stay current on audit and regulatory standards through training and research.
• • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Accounting preferred.
  • One to two years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Eligibility to pursue a CPA, CISA, CFSA, or CIA certification is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
