Title Dental hygienist Job Description Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Maintain sterile and safe environments using appropriate aseptic techniques. Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry methods. Document treatment plans and patient records accurately using Dentrix Ascend or similar software. Review patient medical history to ensure appropriate care. Collaborate with the team to develop individualized care plans, including pediatric treatments. Stay informed of current trends and best practices in dental hygiene. Shift & Schedule Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Saturday & Sunday: Closed Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Requirements Licensed dental hygienist Valid Dental Hygienist License in Illinois. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and preventive care techniques. Excellent patient communication skills focused on education and comfort. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and teamwork abilities. Commitment to ongoing professional development. Preferences Dentrix Eaglesoft Open Dental Experience with Dentrix Ascend or other dental practice management software. Minimum one year clinical experience as a hygienist. Spanish language proficiency.
