As an **Armed Field Security Officer** you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, enforce site-specific policies, and if appropriate emergency response. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter. Work environment and conditions may vary by client site. + Assure officers receive appropriate training in developing both their technical and professional skills; also provide performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.). + Utilize scheduling software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective management. + Listen to and act upon employee grievances with help from appropriate branch or region HR support. + Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Possess effective written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of client personnel and the general public in a professional manner. + Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology for personnel management and fulfilling security duties. + Possess the skills to handle crisis situations at client sites in a calm and efficient manner. Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, enforce site-specific policies, and if appropriate emergency response. **Minimum Requirements:** + Must be at least 21 years of age. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + Possess a **current** Guard Card and Firearm Permit and any other licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations that may be required prior to employment. + As a condition of employment the candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
