Level 1 Technology Support Specialist (part-time)

Description MSAD 58 is seeking a Level 1 Technology Support Specialist for our district. This position is available immediately and works part-time, year round. General Description This position is responsible for providing technical support throughout the District. This position will report directly to the Technology Director. Essential Duties HelpDesk Support Software Support Device Management Basic Networking Skills Answering Quick Questions Submit Tickets for Students and Staff Contact Team Members or the Tech Director Friendly Service Necessary Skills Thorough familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software, including Google Docs, Sheets and Excel Ability to contact and work with vendor support Thorough documentation of work in the ticket system The ability to troubleshoot issues in a logical and systematic manner Ability to work as part of a team Aptitude for self-guided professional development Communication and Interpersonal Skills Ability to take and follow directions to satisfactory task completion Reliability and dependability Excellent organizational skills as well as attention to detail Qualifications CHRC through the Maine Department of Education.
