DSD Account Sales Rep (Direct Store Delivery)

GENERAL SUMMARY

The commission eligible role is responsible for visiting local accounts, selling, merchandising, supporting promotions on all lines the company distributes. They are responsible for building and maintaining positive store relationships for all assigned customers. Lifting of items 20-40 pounds of weight is required for this role. Willing to train the right person with the desire to succeed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.

1. Develop and maintain positive relationships with all grocery department managers at store level

2. Maintain high levels of professionalism

3. Daily ordering at all scheduled accounts before listed cutoff times for next day delivery

4. Merchandising all product ordered previous day at all accounts

5. Maintain clean and full product displays at all accounts

6. Maintain organized and properly rotated back stock in area designated by store management

7. Ensure product distribution of all authorized manufactured and partnered products

8. Develop solid relationships at store level

9. Increase brand presence through incremental points of interruption via racks, displays and shipper placement

10. Up to date Technological Skills

11. Able to manage changing priorities

12. Possesses a sense of urgency in the completion of tasks

13. Is highly organized with great attention to detail

14. Ability to stay focused with the task at hand

15. Ability to quickly analyze situations and adapt to them

16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

-High school diploma or equivalent.

-Ability to provide your own transportation to travel throughout the city for daily for store visits. This includes a valid driver’s license and insurance with a clean driving record. A weekly automobile reimbursement is provided to cover the expenses associated with operating your own vehicle.

-Ability to work within a given sales area during normal business hours while making store visits that align with the needs of our customers schedule.
