Patient Support Assistant
Hourly Pay Range: $18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights
- Position: Patient Support Assistant
- Location: Glenbrook Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:45AM-7:00PM, with one Saturday per month at our Lake Bluff location
- Required Location: Travel to Skokie occasionally
What You Will Need
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification: N/A
- Experience: One year of related experience is required; previous administrative experience working in a medical office is preferred; insurance knowledge preferred
- Skills: Minimum typing speed of 20 words per minute required
What You Will Do
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Collect co-payments
- Complete patient registration
- Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
- Check in and check out patients
- Verify insurances
